It's awesome. Thanks so much for sharing. I made this for my in-laws at Christmas and they heard I was making potato soup and looked at each other like, "uh oh." Apparently my father-in-law just hates potato soup. My mother in law was about to make something else for him when she looked in my crockpot. "I thought you said you were making potato soup." "I am. It has sausage and pepper and onion and cilantro and corn in it too...I guess she actually calls it a chowder. Does that make a difference?" She raised her eyebrows and said he might like it. Turns out he LOVED it. Everyone loved it. Giant crockpot, six adults and two toddlers....no leftovers. :-) He told me that he will forever think differently of potato soup and not just assume things from now on. lolAmber Stewarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15696492728363718919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4595450600748209908.post-82813593885035361362013-11-16T20:46:19.451-05:002013-11-16T20:46:19.451-05:00I'm thrilled that you enjoyed this recipe, She...I'm thrilled that you enjoyed this recipe, Shelley! I could not find the chipotle peppers in the town where I live, however I used ground medium italian sausage which gave it a little kick. I love how you have photos at different stages of preparing and cooking.
