Ham and Three-Cheese Quiche

If you're a lover of quiche, this is a fabulous version that is super simple to make with minimal ingredients and little effort. Salty, smoky ham comes together with three types of cheese - Swiss, Parmesan and cheddar - in this classic combination of ingredients. The addition of sliced green onions adds just a hint of onion flavor while a few eggs and heavy cream come together to create the perfect quiche "custard."

Using a store-bought frozen pie crust shell is a helpful shortcut that saves a huge amount of time. While your oven is preheating, just prep your filling ingredients, then marry up everything together inside of the pie shell before pouring on the egg/cream mixture and popping the quiche into the oven. The result is savory, cheesy quiche perfection ... and the ultimate breakfast or brunch dish that everyone always loves.

Ingredients:

1 frozen pie crust shell {unbaked}
1/4 pound thinly-sliced deli ham, chopped
1/3 cup chopped deli Swiss cheese
1/4 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 - 3 green onions, sliced
3 large eggs
1 1/4 cups heavy cream {whole milk can be used for a lighter quiche}
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Place ham, cheeses and green onions into pie crust shell.

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, salt and pepper. Pour over fillings in shell. Place quiche onto a baking sheet.

Bake for 45 - 50 minutes or until filling is "set." Remove from oven.

Allow to cool 15 - 20 minutes before slicing.
